"I have a very big, high expectation with the China-Nauru relationship," Joshua Scotty, a local legal practitioner in Nauru told Xinhua.


　　"I do recognize the one-China principle and I agree with the government of severing relations with Taiwan," said Scotty, who has seen a lot of positive feedback from neighboring Pacific island countries.
