Tracing China: American architect draws up dreams under Great Wall
Jim Spear, from the United States of America, has lived in China for over 40 years, since 1983. In 2005, he quit his job as a manager in a foreign company and became a self-taught architect. In the past few years, he has transformed his ramshackle farmhouse at the foot of the Great Wall into a beautiful and habitable residence as well as renovated dozens of houses in rural areas.
